About the MyUrbanCard.Com Management Team
MyUrbanCard is a volunteer led membership initiative of the Urban League
of Eastern Massachusetts. The Purpose of this program is not only to
help us increase our membership base but to increase the economic support
of local businesses and individuals committed to supporting our local
economy.
To do this, the campaign aims at recruiting local businesses to become
participating members of the Urban League and to provide discounts to our
membership base. Our Goal is
to have 5,000 residents using the card on a daily basis thereby supporting
those businesses who have invested in our communities, in our people and
in our mission.
MyUrban Card will help recycle dollars, services and profits back into the
community that we serve… thus creating more jobs. It is “the Card that
makes a difference every time you use it!”

Brandi Perch
Intern
My name is Brandi Nicole Perch, and I attend John
D. O’Bryant School of Mathematics and Science Growing up in Boston all my life
has made me want to move my career choice towards being an environmental
engineer. Witnessing poverty, violence and drug use on the same streets as I
walk has begun to convince me that I could make a huge change in my community by
becoming an engineer. Being a sophomore in high school, I know that I still have
a decent amount of time to figure out what I want to do for a living, but it is
good to have an open mind on where I want my career to take me. All in all,
being at the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts is one of the first big steps
I have taken to guide me through the profession that I want in life.
